For the past few weeks, I’ve been so busy building my photo walks, workshops, and teaching business that my own wandering with a camera has taken a back seat.
I’m always fascinated by the “flows to bay” messages stamped in metal, pointing to secret underground passageways beneath the streets. This is a cool project!
A very interesting project, I have for my 365 photo project during February (3 connected square format shots per day) have taken shots of interesting house numbers and decorated doors, I like the idea of the annotated urban landscape, and may well "steal" the idea! Thank you for posting!😀
The fun of shooting this way is to see what the next person does with the idea, then down the line... then eventually what I do with it when it comes back something completly different.

I, personally, love these types of urban details. Great finds!!
What a great photo idea, thanks for the inspiration!
Can't wait to see what you do with the idea.

Steal! Please steal!

Thank you!
"Annotated Urban Landscape"! Excellent concept.
I've often been struck by how much utilities companies marked up the streets/sidewalks with spray paint and yet graffiti is illegal!
Love it, reminds me of Roman Mars on 99% Invisible - Always read the plaque.
Family rolls their eyes every time I stop, read, and mention that. Here was last weekends: https://inmenlo.com/2020/08/27/spotted-plaque-commemorating-the-launch-of-the-internet-age-at-zotts/
What a great theme for a collection, Josh. This is great.
These are wonderful. I love these little details. Excellent compositions!
