Complex reflections can be so interesting. I love that you share your inspiration, motivation and experience diving into this special topic! You have some really great results here. I think slowing yourself down and observe what’s in front is crucial here. But it is obvious you took that to heart!
Some nice images there - and enjoyed reading your observations. Ernst Haas is great for reflections and city details, always loved his work. It reminds me to try harder (and maybe slow down) to get better reflection shots - I think we are all pretty fed up with ‘puddle’ shots on IG!
Thanks for the great comments. I remember seeing Haas a while back. Will go send so much more time. Funny thing about the puddles: That’s something I tried early on but my results were so lack luster I forgot all about them. Yes to: reflections more the. Puddles or water!
Yes I do like to photograph reflections as well. I do have a few, I think I'll make a substack newsletter about them in the future. I also like mirror reflections, like this one I posted on my Imagine Limburg project https://limburg.photo/urban-life/#lg=1&slide=2
Hi Josh I like “All that glitters”and the Honda photographs. I love reflections too. I do some of them in my beach photography.
