Earlier this week I was lucky enough to get away to Carmel (aka Carmel-by-the-sea) for 48 hours. Since this was a couple’s getaway and not a solo photo trip I saw it as the perfect chance to experiment with another "Single Roll Walkabout." For the uninitiated, a
“I know exactly what you saw.” ha my wife says that too, or I will stop and pause and she'll say, "Yeah I see it, take your picture, I'll wait."
The doors have it! Great stuff. I couldn't limit myself to just 36 frames in Carmel. One of the prettiest places in the world.
What a great place to visit! Would love to go there and Point Lobos to walk in the footsteps of the masters… looks like a lovely time!
Nothing beats the light in California
I find this is especially true in San Francisco
I like this concept of Single Roll Walkabout. It will slow us down. Will try that someday soon.
I was there in February. The night the power went out. I love Carmel in any kind of weather.
