Recently, I was fortunate enough to add a pocket-sized camera to my gear. I don’t often get new cameras, but when I do, there’s usually a noticeable dip in the quality of my photos—sometimes lasting for years—as I learn the camera’s nuances and figure out how to set it up to become intuitive.
That said, I occasionally find myself pleasantly surprised by a few of the random test shots, even those taken casually from the couch while watching TV. I think it’s the "beginner’s mind" at play—letting go of the pressure to capture a perfect shot and simply enjoying the process.
Here are a few pictures shot with the new camera:
Nice work with new camera. Ricoh GR is also my favorite. Still hoping they come with a b&w sensor.
I have been carrying my Ricoh GRIIIx around for 1 1/2 years now and love it! Amazing little camera! I hope you will have as much fun with yours as I have with mine!
