Over the past four months, I had the privilege and joy of helping teach an Intro to Photography class at the (beautiful) College of San Mateo, our local community college.
Let me know if you want help finding one. Facebook groups are easiest to find and join—but often a bit big. Meetup groups take more effort but in person is nice.
If you watch any YouTubers a number of them run groups.
Maybe I should first become a member of some local photo club and then to participate at some local exhibition. Or do you suggest me that I bypass these local events and participate in some online events like you mentioned?
I have had a really hard time finding local photo clubs here in the SF Bay Area. If you find one, yes that’s great. Would love to hear about your experiences.
