This was great. I actually found your blog after seeing Mark's comment about your zine. This post was very enjoyable to read and find out about your process. I have made a few zines, using -- of all places -- Amazon KDP and all free software. In case you're interested, the benefit of using KDP is it's "free" for you, but the downside is the printing is highly unpredictable and you have to take several tries (publishing, buying a proof, re-editing the photos) to get them anywhere near where you want them (KDP goes way too dark and the photos can look muddy the first several tried). My zines are based on my photo site errorc1301.com . I would love to send you a couple publications in exchange for your zine. How do I DM you?

Great work Josh, I have intentions of making a zine of some sort this year too. I have no desire whatsoever to make a book, but a zine feels like something different – more collectible in a way. I would love a copy of yours in exchange for a surprise in the mail. I will DM you tomorrow (Thurs).
